Spring 2015—We are pleased to now offer waterproof airbrush makeup to the list of services we provide! We have provided airbrush tattoos in the past, but now  we can offer water-proof makeup that is safe for the face, too! This makeup is perfect for pool parties and hot days where our customers wish to enjoy face and body art without worrying about it coming off with water or sweat. Winter 2015— Happy New Year! Please note that some prices have changed, and we have restructured our Weekday Special. We are also pleased to announce that we have added Balloon Decor to our list of services! Balloon decor is perfect for all types of events where you want to make a visual statement that wows your audience without creating large custom set pieces that can break your budget. Balloon decor can look big and splashy, delicate and elegant, or fun and festive all with the choice of colors and styles. From basic 9 ft. columns to custom designed sculpted areas, there are lots of ways to add balloon decor to your event. Ask us for ideas and pricing!

Spring/Summer 2014—We are pleased to announce a new booking package! The Dean and Kristen Weekday Special is now available starting May 1, where you can book Kristen the face painter and Dean the balloon twister together for two hours. Up to 24 face paintings and 24 balloon designs will be done for you and your guests within a two-hour timeframe,  for the low price of $350... a 25% savings from our regular weekend prices! Spring 2010—Pirates are popular now more than ever! Book your favorite pirate for your next special event - it doesn't have to be a birthday party, but can be any special event where pirates can be hired to liven up your event. Give us a call, ye scurvy dog! Yarr!!!

Fall 2007—Kristen Scott is being published! Gymboree Corporation, an international family of specialty retail brands focusing on children, will introduce their new book,"Face Painting – Enchanting Designs for Faces and Bodies", featuring the face and body painting designs of Kristen Scott. Look for this colorful, step-by-step book in stores such as Costco and Gymboree, and online at Amazon.

June 2007
—Magickal Face Painting will be the face painting company for the brand new Northern California Pirate Festival, to be held in Vallejo, California.

—Magickal Entertainment proudly introduces their new PIrate Party Package! Please contact us for more information on how you can bring "real" pirates to your next event, complete with pirate-themed activities, games and pirate booty.

May 2007—Kristen and Dean Scott will attend the 2007 Face and Body Art International Convention in Orlando, Florida. As the Director of Competitions, she and the competition committee are organizing and running over 20 international competitions for this convention.

April 2007—Magickal Face Painting and Temporary Tattoos will join the Southern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire as their new face painting company.

Spring 2007
—Dean Scott will appear in upcoming events as Dean the Dragon Tamer. 

—Kristen's "Spider Princess" design will be published in the upcoming "Fairy Princesses" face painting design book, written by Marcela Murad. For more information, click here.

Winter 2007— One of Kristen Scott's designs will be published in a new face painting book entitled, "Cats", written by Marcela Murad. For more information, click here.

September 2006—Kristen Scott places third in the Masters competition at the Northern California Renaissance Faire. This is the first time a body painting has ever been entered in this competition.

September 2005—Magickal Face Painting and Temporary Tattoos joins the Northern California Renaissance Faire community, and is chosen to be a featured artist in their television commercial. 

November 2004—Having designed the makeup for TabardTheatre’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wartdrobe, she is mentioned in a review, where the writer compares her work to Cats (the musical) makeup artist, John Napier! 

September 2004—Kristen Scott and her artwork are featured in an issue of Face and Body Art International, for her work in sporting events painting.
